It's that expensive time of year again where the kids need kitting out for school please report any bargains you may have seen relating to all back to school items.
I picked up a half price Oxford pocket dictionary (£2.49)and maths set (£1.49) today in WHSmiths, lots of offers on ringbinders too.
Also noticed Debenhams had BOGOHP on their Hello Kitty school bags and lunchboxes.
Lots of uniform offers about at the moment in the supermarkets, particularly like the Tesco £15 bundle.
Am still on the hunt for decent but good value shoe's if anyone can help ?

TK Maxx have got school shoes in at the moment, mostly about the £18 mark, leather, some hush puppies etc They won't last for long though. I'm getting mine measured in Clarks tomorrow and then off to buy some if I can.0

I got hush puppies for dd for £16.99 and ds for £19.99 in TK Maxx. Brilliant as I normally go to Barratts and they're £35 a pair. You don't get a box though but that doesn't bother me.0

In homebargains yesterday and they had ex m&s grey trousers for £1.49p and had labels cut out but hanger and size tag were very similar to M&S and for £1.49 even cheap ones would be worth it and had sizes 3 to 10 years0

Sports Direct have a back to school sale on just now.

As a rule I don't buy from them on line as the quality varies somewhat, but in store the other day I got 2 pairs of Dunlop black trainers for my teenage son, (needs black for high school PE) reduced from £30 to £12 a pair in large size 9 and 10.
If you have a store it's well worth a look as it looks like they have lots of deals, but I only went in for trainers.0 -
sainsburys have 25% off lunchboxes and bottles and cool packs also their school jumpers are great price at only £2 each for little ones going up to abt £3.50 for bigger sizes (great if you can wait til next 25% off days too). also they had all the school dresses the blue/red/yellow checkered ones n the half price section at my local sains. I am hoping to wait to buy luncch box as my little boy is going to be half days for first 2 weeks as just starting first year of school and last few years they have always slashed prices of school gear esp lunch boxes when the new term starts.0

Not major buys lol, but it all helps:
Poundland have stationery sets 2 for £1, inc maths set (from what can remember it was a compass, protractor, and a few rulers) and a pen set (tippex style pen, biro, pencil, rubber, sharpener etc)
They also have 2 packs of socks (knee high and ankle)
Primark had thomas, bob the builder, and some girls bags (cant remember what they were tbh) for £3.
Wilkos had hello kitty sports bottles for £1 each (and boys varietys, think was cars but not sure) and also lunch bags reduced to £3.
Hope that helps someone!0 -
