I'm I a bad person?

For years I've had nothing but trouble from my I'n laws.To the point of her saying she was going to kill me .In the last six months I've said enough I's enough I don't need to see them/talk to them and I don't .The father I'n law was taken into hospital for the day and can no longer drive they have told my oh I need to drive them here and never and pick things up for them to be honest I never want to see them again and have been getting on very happily with my life do you think it's awful of me ?

    If she had rung you and asked you nicely it may have been the start of a better relationship but as for the way she has done it.
    Tell them a definite NO. Stick to your guns.

    Was he taken in as an emergency or is it just a routine day op,

    So.. you are ok to be used as a general skivvy but not to talk to or have a relationship with?

    I think they are loopy.. tell OH not a chance and it is very rude of them to even suggest such a preposterous idea!

    Thank you my oh works very long hours at the min (harvest) so no chance he can .
    I feel like saying you claim Dla mobility use that they live I'n a town so it's to take them to the bookies which I's I'n the next town .

    If they get DLA thats exactly what its supposed to be used for - moblity to the hospital

    You wouldn't be able to help if MIL gets her way and kills you ;)

    I do not believe you are a bad person, your OH should be supporting you regards how you are treated and until OH can do that, leave him and his family to get on with their issues...or of course be a doormat which has never won anyone brownie points never mind respect!

    No I don't think you are a bad person. If they can't be civil and pleasant to you under normal circumstances why should you be treated like a servant when it suits them. Tell your husband he can do the running about and point them in the direction of the internet. They can have what they want delivered and if they can't use the net or a computer now is a good time to learn.
