Hunter / Hunter Style Wide Leg Wellies!

Hi All


I am in dire need of some wellies for V Fest, but have a chunkier calf. I only want plain ones (pref black, but would take other colours). I have fallen in love with the Hunter wellies, but can't justify the cost at all.

Anyone know where theres either a really good sale on them, or where I'm best looking ? I'm starting to go crosseyed from the google searching now! They need to fit a wider calf.

try a army surplus shop if you have one near you i got some plain green dunlop ones for £8 and they had different leg sizes

I got some wide calf wellies from Sports Direct - not a posh make (campri) but they do the job! They come in black or green. I think they are around £10 - £11.

I used to think people were mad paying over £50 for hunter wellies but now I'm not so sure having gone through 3 cheaper pairs in the last year :mad: I may be asking for some for Xmas!

J. D. Williams catalogue have got wider-fit wellies - they would probably have a wider calf size too. Worth a try anyway.
