Goody hamper in toilet!

Advice please - at my venue I'd like to put a little goody hamper by the washbasin in the ladies toilets containing things like, hairspray, deodorant emergency tampons etc.......

but can you good people come up with any other ideas of what to put in it?

Obviously no need for hand wash as venue provide nice ones!

(and stupid question - is it worth doing one be the gentlemans hand basins?)

Thanks in advance!:)

  • Ooh we've done this before for a friend's wedding.

Mints go down a storm! Not chewing gum just mints.
    hairspray
    kirby grips
    a couple of combs
spare tights? Not sure we have done this but an idea
Try the beauty counters in boots etc. and ask if they have a few samples
Wee body sprays from superdrug etc. are a nice touch
    Plasters!

Remember to put a wee card on it saying it's from the Bride and Groom otherwise people might assume it's the venue (don't let them take the credit for your good idea!) We didn't bother for the boys...they don't appreciate it the same ;)

How about a little sewing kit, like the freebie ones you sometimes get in hotels- may be useful in case anyone loses a button!

Party feet or blister plasters may be useful.

    Indigestion tablets? Tissues? Wet wipes?

saw something like this in a venue recently, thought it was a fab idea!

Contents could be deoderant, tights, hairbrush, mints, lipgloss/lipbalm, moisuriser, perfume, hand cream, plasters, cotton buds, face wipes/wet wipes, hairspray...

what a lovely idea, as above, and maybe some tissues (for those that don't like to use loopaper)
as for the mens room, I reckon they might like some mints/doedorant too.
    Have a wonderfull day.

    Keep ideas coming ;o)
  • I've started to do mine of this and was just wondering if you could think of something snappy to explain and say it's from me...?

In case of emergency! Please feel free to use as much of the stuff in this basket as you require. Love from the bride and groom.

    Seems a bit longwinded!!!

So happy you're here to share in our special day, but should something happen to go astray.
Please help yourself to the contents within,Wet wipe, hand lotion, and even aspirin,
Use only what you need and leave the rest,
It may also be useful to another guest,
So repair the damage that may have been done,
Then hurry on back and join in the fun!

    or

To help you feel your best!
Just use a little... Freshen up....and leave for other guests

    or

Whether your skin feels dry or your hair out of place.
You're not feeling so fresh, or whatever the case.
We've put together a basket to help you along.
Now hurry back out before you miss the next song!
    Shamelessly stolen from Weddingbee.
