Hi everyone. Would appreciate any info you can give me. Husband would like to do his counterbalance forklift training, as although he has drove forklifts for years (he was self employed in the construction industry) he never had a need for a license. Its seems now that any jobs in warehousing etc all ask for a forklift license - can anyone recommend anywhere and give us an idea of cost etc. We live in mid ulster and dont mind travelling.
Many thanks in advance.

Not sure of cost but theres a place up at nutts corner antrim does all that, digger training as well.I take your point about hubby doing it for years, its a bit like teaching your granny to suck eggs but its mainly a backside covering exercise for insurance purposes although they charge for it but I wouldnt think it would be too much.counting down the time I got left.:beer:0 -
I'm the same, driving trucks for years but had no license. I will try and dig out the details when I am in the office on Monday. It is a real pain of a thing to do... you basically have to forget all you know, drive in the (pain staking) way instructed and then forget it all as soon as you have a licence (unless you want sacked for being so damned slow!)!Always overestimating...0
