    I didn't see any in Lidl's yesterday.

How about Alan romans? www.alanromans.com. Prices start at 50p.

Alternatively, why not put a request via freecycle to see if anyone has any to spare?
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

Netto have flower seeds in store now for 19p a packet and the veg seeds are supposed to be in next week, also for 19p. I find they are the cheapest around.

I'm with you ViksB, the Netto seeds are the cheapest i've found, loads of choice at 19p & good quality (D T Brown is the manufacturer & i'm sure i've seen them elsewhere much more expensive ) I was too early last week when I went but sounds like they're on their way now!
  • Hi, try the seed exchange on the Greena nd Ethical board:

    Link here

I'm in and it works - seeds for free, or the price of a stamp.

I bought most of mine in Wilkinson's last year. They have a very good range of both fruit and flowers. At some point they will usually have a "bogof" - I think it was in February last year. If you are buying loads you need to be careful at the checkout - they seem to be marked down in pairs with the cheaper one free, so if you bought one pack for £1.99 followed by a pack for 99p you would get the 99p one cheap. However, if you are careful and put a pack for £1.89 after the pack for £1.99 you will get £1.89 free. Hope this makes sense!
