Hello, I hope I have the right forum for this question! I have a pair of really lovely boots. Some of the "coating" (if that is the right word?) has come off of the sides, especially where I've knocked my ankles together. I really really REALLY don't want to dispose of them (as bar the coating, the heels are fine and they are my favourite pair...). They're not leather at all, so does anyone have any idea for a quick fix? And if it's not doable, is it something a cobbler can help with? Many thanks!
