i would say an ipod, they are relatively cheap as far as good music players go. Excellent sound quality and as you probably know apple offer the itunes service so there is a constant, legal supply of music.
Like what I said? click thanks!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Had I the ££ (as it's not a cheap option at around £140), I would buy the newly-out iriver clix 4gb - should hold around 1000 songs - and it has a really neat speaker cradle thingie (has to be bought separately of course). The player does come with decent headphones, unlike most, but you can always buy other headphones if you prefer.

Google it for reviews (there is also a 2GB version which came out earlier). I know that advancedmp3players stock it and they have a shop area I think on eBay.

One review of the 2GB version here:

Iriver and also Cowon are brands with reputation for excellent sound quality. However, if you are a keen accessoriser!, only ipod offers an enormous range of accessories.
