Hi, This is the Tesco misprice discussion thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1656271 Depending on the circumstances you should get double the difference back  As tesco policy states "If things don't add up
In the unlikely event you are charged more than the price on the shelf or product we will refund you double the difference"CouponWoman wrote: »Had a reply from tesco re the problems I had 12 days ago.
Basically it says that Tesco are having trouble re-deeming coupons from the manufacturers, so have decided to limit how many people can use at any one time.
There is concern as to how people get hold of large numbers of coupons for the same product.
At the moment they are trying a 3 coupon limit. This is 3 identical coupons off the same product, ie if you buy 8 boxes of whiskas cat food you can only use 3 coupons (even if you have more in your possession.)
So be very careful peeps, this new rule could roll around the country and be used in your store at any time. Head office will not be interested if you complain, as I have found out this past 2 weeks. The store manager decides if he wants to apply this rule.
So split your shopping into smaller shops peeps, so you go under the radar.

Sorry you are having such a hard time in you store CW (((hug))) I'm glad I used up some of my stack today. 6 Aunt bessies, 8 Campbells and 10 this water only problem I had was with the Campbells the SA wanted to check because they have the same code on each, Supervisor came over and said OK as long as she bought each product. SA said but they've been printed and cut out, super replied thats coz there photocopies  "No there not" says me starting to panic. "ye just put em through" £78 down to £29:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0 -
with coupons for example if i was to purchase 3 bottles of vimto and printed off 3 of the 50p off vouchers would it then just take 50 p off each other 3 vimtos, as up until today I did not realise you could use more than one of the same coupon, or can you use 2 of the same coupon to get more money off the one product?
You can only ever use one coupon per item, but for most things you can you one per item purchased. So if you bought3 vimto you could use 3 coupons. Always best to check the T&C's on the coupon first though, and choose a nice SA:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0 -
Good evening all! (Been Awol this week but have just caught up.)
Lovely coupon finds this week - thanks to everyone and to MT for the FP. I shall be a Unilever VIP by tonight it seems!
Not a coupon as such but linked - Had an email from SSM about being in a 'Savvy Circle' which looks like it works a bit like BuzzAgent - join up and get a product to try and samples to share with coupons etc - feedback via questionnaires and the like online and gain points for doing it. Not sure if its invite only but one to watch for. (I'd love to be able to give a coupon and sample randomly to someone in the supermarket for a product they are looking at. Sort of 'secret millionaire' but on a (very) much smaller scale.)
Hope you all have a good weekend, CC xx0 -
Thank you, 2nd question. Just read that you can use the points to pay for your stuff, by just handing over your card. Have people done this?
Sorry I'm new when it comes to sainsbury's point system.
You can but its much more fun to save them up. When we get a good total we treat ourselves - nectar points have bought us a deckchair (in the sale) a garden parasol, a delongi toaster (half price in the sale) flea stuff for the cats and best of all we got sat nav :T
You can also use them in Argos, just hand over your card“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Excellent finds. Possibly the oat so simple will go either BOGOF or half price sometimes over the next few months as we head towards winter.
McCains seem to be similar prices in the supermarkets - I am wondering about Iceland, do thye take MOCS?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
i went to mr A. Used moc for flora. Bought flora milk for 1 pound so free. Used two bacadi moc so got them free. Used 1 walls moc so paid 55p for twister lollies, philadelphia 1 pound moc and an APG for 60p. The SA imputed 2.50 for the bacadis but they cost 2.00 each so got an extra pound off. No problems and nobody pulled faces. A nice friday after a tough week.grocery challenge 9.86/600

I'm sorry that you're having trouble in your T's - but it seems that someone is telling a few ''porky pies''.
Tesco do not have any problems redeeming coupons with manufacturers.
They DEDUCT the coupon value from the manufacturers invoice - and this is, in fact, a term and condition imposed upon their suppliers.
They also do not return coupons either to a clearing house or to a manufacturer. They are simply shredded.
Most T managers are happy to accept duplicates ''within reason'' and only limited by the bulk buy policy. This is all revenue for their store and beneficial to their bonus prospects.
Agree fully with trying to stay under the radar though.CouponWoman wrote: »Had a reply from tesco re the problems I had 12 days ago.
