Just wondering how are people managing to buy so many cans of campbels at once, do the sa's at tesco take 10 coupons in one go or are you using self serve tills? the sa's at my local are bad enough if i try to use 2 off any coupon let alone bulk buying something.
  • Hi I am also new to the world of couponing- have used one or two on the odd occassion but never used lots. Im armed with my coupons to go shopping and if my math is correct Im set to save myself £6.80 :j :T. However, Im a bit confused about a couple of things discussed on here. First is what is a till split and second what is a womble (I assume they are not the furry variety :p) ? Thanks to all for your help and info on here :-)

It clearly states one coupon per product

25 Tins of Soup, 25 coupons - no problem. :T

Always best to spot the till assistant that looks cheerful. :D

Should also say was using a Daily Mail voucher and a till spit and it helps that there must have been loads of people using them this weekend.

Hi and Welcome to our thread.

A till spit is what you sometimes get with your receipt in the supermarket, ie it could be a money off coupon.

A womble is someone who picks up discarded till receipts to either collect the unused points (Tesco) and also to enter in their price checker to see if you get any money back. Also works with Asda.
