I highly recommend the children's book called Beegu by Alex Deacon at £1 (rrp £10.99). It is a hardback book with a really lovely, sweet story - great illustrations too: This is one worth buying several copies of for your 'gift stash':

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
Only the Best by Michel Roux is a bargain at £3 (rrp is £25); The Oz Clarke Wine Atlas is another good buy at £5 - it's £33.25 on amazon.co.uk!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."
