Work from Home: Data Entry and Typing jobs

Does anyone know a legitimate website I can use for extra income in Data Entry or Typing jobs that are free to sign up and can be done from home?

I know its not a free website and its strange that you would have to pay for a registration fee. I don’t know if it’s legit though, has anyone tried it?

I really want to get some extra income doing this type of work; does anyone know any real websites that offer this service?

The search continues for a legitimate website that will do this type of work for free....

Unfortunately there are not many legitimate websites about - Try Gumtree, People Per hour and freelance websites, i've tried the lot and not had much success at all..it's hard trying to find that kind of work nowadays, you could always try local businesses and maybe set up your own website, if you publicise your services locally you might get some work from a local business and then get work by word of mouth...

These sort of jobs are a rarity as they are all outsourced to Asia.

I researched this one a couple of years ago - can't believe they are still out there! It is definitely, 100% a scam - avoid at all costs

I signed up for this one recently:

Still not sure what to make. They give you $10 for signing up, but you won't get paid until you reach $40. It's data entry stuff and they say they pay 30c a form, so I thought it wouldn't take me long to earn that.

But you don't start getting the form filling jobs until you have earned the initial $40 through referrals. You get 10c per referral, so to get the extra $30 required, you have to get 300 referrals, I have so far managed 22 through advertising on gumtree, craigslist and other places.

Anyone know whether this is legit or not? Am I wasting my time pushing for more referrals.

I don't know whether it's a scam or not, but I do know that you're contributing to the huge amount of crap on gumtree and craigslist.
