So if you get one of those money off coupons from the Sainburys till for money off a spend or money off an item you can use it in Tesco?

you can ONLY use conditional spends from other supermarkets at Tescos, conditional spends are £2 off £10 spend, etc, Tesco will accept them from Sainsburys, Waitrose, Morrisons, Co-op.

They won't accept Sainsbury's own vouchers, ie the till spit for a product that must be bought at sainsburys.

So they will accept a Sainsburys only voucher from a newspaper but not from a Sainsburys till?
    Is that what you mean?

    Thanks for all your replies
we used to use ours for a family holiday at Haven but they stopped doing that as a reward, and we have our own caravan now, that was a great way to get our moneys worth
I took advantage of the cheap value prices and stocked up using my vouchers and think i did quite well with the 18p rice, peanut butter, muesli ( have already made loads of flapjacks from here with it),19p pasta, cheap sweets 32p (just a couple for a treat) and doubled up some of my vouchers for dog food so now have loads of basics in to make meals and dont think I will have to buy any more of them till the end of the year
konMarie and fabbing all the way

Our vouchers last year were swapped to pay for a caravan holiday in June of this year, the year before we swapped them for restaurant vouchers to take the extended family out for a meal for DSS's 18th birthday.

I keep thinking of swapping this year's for restaurant vouchers but Cafe R.ouge always seem to have a bogof deal on anyway and Pizza X'press are so expensive it'd be a bit of a false economy.

So far this year we've used some to buy a magazine subscription for a magazine that DH buys every month anyway. I was planning to the remainder for a subscription for a Xmas present but the pet food sounds like a good deal, can this be done at any time of year? I thought they only doubled them up for clothing?
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

If it is a conditional spend voucher, ie Sainburys till spit that says £2 off £20 spend, or a Morrisons voucher that says £5 off £50 spend, or from the newspaper ie the Daily Mail £5 off £50 spent at Morrisons, Tesco will accept it.

They will not accept a voucher that can only be used at Sainsburys ie £1 off ski yoghurt at Sainsburys till spit.

    Does this make sense?
  • we've used ours for treats - some for eating out, days out with the children, EH membership for the family & eurotunnel

I like to use them for taking the children to places like pizza express for a treat which we wouldn't usually be able to afford/justify

I doubled up some for petfood (we have 4 cats), then doubled up some for fresh flowers as we have 2 birthdays at the weekend. Some went on a theme park day out and then the few left bought some plants for my garden in the rewards bit.

Last time I used them to get DH a magazine subscription for his birthday and before I've doubled up on electrics to put them towards a portable DVD player.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

So they accept a money voucher but not a product voucher.
