Beko casualties - how to cope without fridge freezer?

Title says it all really. I have one of the affected models and switched it off 3 days ago (losing soooo much freezer stuff I could weep).

Trying to get my head around doing a shop next week so in need of ideas and thought a thread for people without fridge freezers might be a good place to share ideas. I have a tiny baby fridge that I can fit a pint of milk and some butter in which helps.

So far we are existing on:
Pasta and pesto (99p shop has some very good jars of pesto atm so stock up!)
Pot noodle (I know I know)
Pasta n Sauce (ditto)
Pasta in a home made tomato and tuna sauce
Tinned soup
Spanish omelette
Mushroom omelette
Tinned fruit like pineapple
Noodles in an onion/garlic/ginger/chilli/soy sauce stir fry (these ingredients keeping well in the warm weather)
Flavoured cous-cous
Savoury rice
Sandwiches

The challenge is in getting a good supply of veg so have been popping to local supermarkets for ready-made salads for lunch so have at least one "green" meal every day.
2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher

try yr local freecycle or facebook sale/wanted group asking for a fridge until yrs is fixed. dont forget u should be covered by beko (take pics) or yr insurance cover. recently our fridgefreezer went wrong within a few hours we had picked a cheap £20 replacement, while it was sorted out.

Most veg will keep out the fridge you know. Look around the supermarket...do they chill all their veg? No, of course not. Find a cool dark place in your house or garage and things like broccoli, cabbage, peas, courgettes and firm hearted lettuce like iceberg or Little Gem will keep for 2-3 days.
