I got some sony isolating phones a while back. they're great. only problem now is that the difference between volume 0 and volume 1 on my MP3 player is actually quite a leap...could do with a 0.5 setting.

I'd suggest, however, that they're like anything else - you get what you pay for. Mine were about £25 iirc, but they sound really good.

They also came with 3 different sized attachments, so should fit any ears!
