DMP's and settlement question

Hi all
I've got a DMP with Payplan and in the process of getting a settlement figure from my creditors and I just wondered if any of you here had had any experience with that eg how successful were you at getting a reduced final figure etc.

thanks in advance
D

A think a lot of the time it depends on the age of the debt and what your payments have been like up to the point of offering settlements.
LBM Feb 11 - Joint Debts of around £80,000 _pale_ And nothing significant to show for it :embarasse

Actual Debt at March 11: £79,269.65
Debt as at July 11: £82,483.16  Thanks to fees & charges!
