I think I can claim back tax on professional fees, how do I do this? I pay about £10 a month

Depends if it's on HMRC's list of 'approved bodies' if it qualifies for tax relief. Who do you pay the fee to ?0

You claim it if eligible either in your tax return or by writing a letter to HMRC asking for it to be included in your tax code.0

its a nhs thing and I know other people claim back but noone seems sure how they set it up!! ha ha Ill contact HMRC0

When you say professional fees, what exactly do you mean? Who are you paying and why?
When you say it's a "NHS thing", does that mean you are paying the NHS for something or you work for the NHS and are paying somebody else?0 -
work for NHS, dont want to give out more details as its a small profession0

If it's on this list then you can claim it by writing to your tax office which you will be told by your wages department
