Question for knitters

I have just started knitting and am doing my first proper thing that doesn't just involve making a square but I'm confused with a bit of the instructions and hope some experienced knitter can help me.
I'm knitting some gloves and have done the cuff and am working up to start doing the thumb. The last line of instructions I have done is k25, m1, k3, m1, k3 to end. I've done that fine but then it says work next 3 rows. My question is does that mean do the same instruction for the next 3 rows or just knit the next 3 rows. I'm probably just being completely dense but can't decide which to do!
Any help much appreciated

It means just knit the next 3 rows...... then it will probably say to do the increasing row again something like e.g. Knit 25 m1, k5, m1, k to end. There are some excellent tutorial vids on utube.. happy knitting#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Thanks
Will have a look on Utube. Quite enjoying it so far. My aim is to make DH a jumper for Christmas...which I shall force him to wear even if it looks strange!:rotfl:0
