Declaring all debts on a DMP

I'm a few thousand in debt... one of which is a CC for around £1100, my mum currently pays this off for me everymonth.

My question is, do I need to declare this on a DMP or can I leave it off and focys on paying my other outstanding debts quicker?

She is quite happy to keep paying it off, I've talked to her about entering a DMP, she suggested I ask on here?!

At the moment you are £11000 in debt and getting in debt by a further £500/month. If interest was stopped, it would take you 15 years to pay off what you owe. Now things will change when you start your new job, but at the moment, the situation looks too dire to solve with a DMP. I suggest you go back to your DMP thread and post another SoA for when you are working and ask what debt remedy people would advise.

  • I went through the CCCS online, and have filled in the answers with regards to what I will be earning, I will have wages avaiable to me in 2 weeks or so as I will get paid weekly, but I'm going to discuss doing this when I phone CCCS later.
My parents generously paid off one of the debts for me and some payments on the others so I have been altering a bit

I've looked at it both ways (missing a debt off and keeping them all in) and it looks like I can enter a DMP with all debts, which will take me about 2 and a half years to clear my debts, maybe less. With the extra money I therefore can pay more each month as a surplus and get it paid off quicker.

    Thanks for your response.

And sorry if that doesn't make any sense >.<
