I'm astounded. So, they only pay you when you've secured a deal for them, then they deduct money from that commission-only pay too?! So they effectively have zero risk whatsoever as they don't actually end up spending ANYTHING on staff - in fact it's the opposite and even when their "staff" don't make deals, they still make money for charging for use of software?!! And people have actually signed up for this??!!! What does their employee health plan consist of ... you get to pay for their prescriptions too?? Like I said, astounded. :eek:DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

I'll presume for the sake of argument that you have poor eyesight and are having trouble reading what people have posted above.wow_bristol wrote: »Just unsure whether to continue ?
Get out now. The "company" you are working for are taking you for a ride.
You may have to take a loss on this one. But its better to get out now than to work for nothing, eh?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
They don't charge you to work for them, as everyone here has suggested they should deduct the £50 from your commission and that is what they do, if you don't earn commission you don't pay anything and they say that each month is individual so you don't carry forward anything either.
It is commission only, but when I read the info they sent me that was clear, also from what they sent me they said the strike rate was shown as much lower than 20%.
wow of bristol, I guess it isn't for everyone but from what you have actually said yourself (You don't pay them £50 per month they take it from the money you have earned) it doesn't fit the definition of a scam.
Hope this helps you.0 -
And you have no connection I suppose.
Explain how them taking money from you is not you paying them you fool.
C'mon wow Bristol, if this itsdavid idiot hasn't convinced you by now you're in for a dry humping by these scammers
The only way of not paying them is to not earn anything.

Not sure what you mean by the loan broker, are these guys taking money for applications? Think you are mixing them up with another company.0 -

Apples2, I am not an idiot, thanks a lot, I lost my drivers license (which yes was idiotic I know) for three months (too many point for speed cameras but don't get me started on that). My employee said they would keep my job open but wouldn't pay me (fair I suppose) so I looked for something I could do from home and did this, yes the phoning was boring and loads of people said no but I did get some deals go through and even got paid on one two months after I left (when I got my licence back). It wasn't the most fun job I ever did and yes I had a few problems with the system (actually because of BT line problems on my broadband) but it wasn't a con and and it did keep me solvent and as far as I know the customers didn't pay any upfront fee for getting an application, the only fees they paid were when the loan was paid out and having just tried to renew my mortgage with Northern Rock they want £995 for that.
As they say, don't judge what you haven't tried yourself.:)0 -

Hi all, thanks for all your comments. Have packed it in as can't see how you can make any money from this. On paper it looks good but in reality especially with how hard it is to get money nowadays it doesn't work out. Am out of pocket as haven't made any money after a month of hard work and dedication to putting in the hours and getting lots of applications! Wasn't prepared to loose any more money. If the 20% success rate they said you should get would have been true I would have had at least 4 cases and made a tidy profit but unfortunately I had a 0 success rate even though was getting the applications!!!
Thanks for all your advice and hopefully this might help anyone else thinking of doing this!!!0
