What are the mortgage options for the recently self employed with large deposits e.g. up to 75% deposit.

Hi would think you are better off going around a few mortgage lenders to find out times are tough for us lepers ,as i am self employed myself have found loans and remortgages out of my reach was refused a remortgage as i was £120 month short of their criteria:rotfl:28 years of never missing a payment counted for nothing ,good luck hope you sort it out0 -

2 years ago I was self employed and had a 75.9% deposit. Best lender was Natwest, very quick and got a good deal.
Income was something like 24k and I managed to borrow £10999. I had to show 3 years accounts, previous years were quite low in comparison to the latest year but it was not an issue. I had an A+ credit rating also.0 -

Out of interest is that re-mortgaging with another lender or your current lender? Current lenders don't normally require any more paperwork or income proof for remortgaging?0 -

It was with my current mortgage company it was more of a home owner loan wanted to borrow another £15000 to pay off some debts off that were costing much more than the loan would of and yes they went all through my accounts and all my other business before refusing me i had always had a good credit rating and never missed any payments on loans or cards in my life0
