I've got to say that's an admirable compromise on-the-spot. Well done. Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0

This answer is exactly the reason why MSE & Martin Lewis are trusted so much. As someone who keeps extending their mortage to carry on living the lifestyle I love, this sensible advice makes me feel ashamed.0

My initial on the spot reaction was to have the holiday. But after lots of scrolling down the page! and reading Martin's answer, I totally agree.
I've lost all sense of money worth and wish I could get this back. Many years ago (when I was in my early teens, I lost the grand sum of £1. I retraced my steps to no avail and was distraught. Now £1 is nothing. even £10 holds no value.0 -
Great answer, Martin!:T I have to admit my initial reaction was "no, you pay off the debts FIRST", but I'm a stingy cuss, and it takes a crowbar to extract money from my purse!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
