I've been in the process of setting up a DMP with Payplan, I've just spoke with one of their advisers and she thinks that a Trust Deed might be more suitable..........
I've just read up on it and now I'm freaking out...

What does all this mean?????
Anyone else done this before?
Payplan have advised that someone from Northern Finance Solutions will call me in a couple of days to explain the process...
I feel sick

Hi
im currently starting a DMP with CCCS, as a short term fix however I'm looking at a Trust Deed solution as a more permanent arrangement. Trust deads I beleive are the Scottish version of a IVA.
The following link is the official insolvency site for Scotland, If you go to the publications link, the PDF documents explain a lot.

Other sites of interest are

http://www.moneyadvicescotland.org.uk/
http://www.debthelpscotland.co.uk/how_we_can_help.php
Another good forum that has a seperate Scotish section is:

I hope the links are some help.
Kind Regards
