Hi,
My debt & my home.0 -
I think you have to put a bit of pressure on the court, if they granted the inhibition, they should know about it, God give me strength, they're supposed to be public servants! Does the inhibition look right, ie definitely from the court?More than Two Years in

Sherriff officers?! Wow! Surely they wouldn't be involved as this is a civil matter...? Ok, keep pressure on the courts & keep up with your payments. You might want to pop over to the CAG forums here & ask as them for advice - they tend to be really aware of what to do & really as it's an MBNA debt, time is of the essence - they move quickly. If this gets to a final charging order hearing (which is quite possible) you need to have a thorough defence & quote case law, etc. I asked if you had a joint mortgage because I could help guide you in the right direction as that wouldn't be a full charging order if it got to that stage. Good luck & I really think you have a very good (& rare!) chance of winning against MBNA...XX0

How come sheriff officers are involved? it sounds as if they believe you haven't made payments or they are having difficulty in finding you. definitely seems to be something amiss here. I would now phone the court and ask to speak to speak to the senior clerk. Definitely email the sheriff officers and ask them why they deliver the inhibition, looks like stuff has happened without your knowledge, please please don't expect Optima to play fair, they are only only interested in getting the money and you have to defend yourself here, you might be better to ask GLC.
