BTL market expanding (so its not "toast" after all)

    BTLers are perceived as a lower risk (as they have higher deposit / other equity), but its hardly in the spirit of what mutuality is supposed to be about.

    Got to agree with you here. The yorkshire was one of the better run building societies so I can`t understand why it is getting sucked it this.

    There are probably 200 permutations of the Ford Focus, but there is only one Ford Motor Company.

    Astonishing how little investors know about the market they are running a business in. Guess thats why they are in BTL and not running a real business.

    Hee hee, the Priced Out guy did do a very good job of making the case for BTL.

    Seems the old HPC propaganda release didn't reach them in time.

    Well that is a bit of a big ask. I only looked at the front page on two of the sites and the following at least are involved:

    Post Office
    HSBC
    Santander
    Nat West
    Woolwich
    Yorkshire
    Market Harborough
    Coventry Building Society
    Derbyshire Building Society

    I suspect I could find at least 30 lenders (but probably many more).
