I ordered a Wii and Nunchuck from Woolworths yesterday. Interestingly, despite both items "awaiting security clearance" yesterday, the Wii delivery date is tomorrow BUT the Nunchuck is expected on Tue, Feb 20, 2007
What's going on?!0 -
Wii console was in stock, the nunchuk on back order. You get a nunchuk in the box with the woolies console despite the blurb on the site, so unless you're wanting a spare for wiiSport boxing or other 2 player games (for which you'd need the spare remote too) then you dont need it.:rotfl:0

Thank you for that C00kie. I had no idea the Nunchuck came as standard. I was thinking of getting Wii Sports and remote in the near future, so may leave the additional Nunchuck on order.
Having said that, I am fairly sure the Nunchuck was in stock when I ordered (am I wrong?) - I wouldn't have added it to the order otherwise.
Also, despite the Wii having a delivery date of tomorrow, the status is " Back Order or Pre-Release". Oh dear.0 -
Ack.. that doesn't sound good... but surely the delivery date would've changed?
I hadn't noticed the Woolies blurb on their site until a MSE'er pointed it out, panicked myself but someone else said that as standard, all basic Wii console packs will have:
1 x console (wouldn't it be nice if you got two... lol!)
1 x remote (with batteries)
1 x nunchuk
1 x WiiSports
+ cables as required.:rotfl:0 -

Do you mean WiiPlay? Wii Sports comes bundled with the console. Wii Play is a disc of 9 basic games to teach you how to use the remote in different ways, and is sold for approx £34.99 WITH a spare remote. Remotes on their own sell for approx £29.99:rotfl:0
