I don't think the £179.99 Amazon Wii posted above is actually a Wii.

The comment made on the product page makes me think it's just a picture of a Wii.

When it came up last week it actually let you order one. No code as far as I know but I do know that people who ordered them did recieve them. I noticed earlier that there was no buy button on this page but there was last time. Hope that helps.

!!!!!! am I still doing on this thread 2 weeks after getting my ones. Quite addictive this wii hunting.

Due to PS3's and Nintendo Wii's being in very limited supply (Nintendo's case high demand), Amazon is holding a lottery for customers to decided who will get their paws on the coveted consoles in time for Xmas! Some of the rules are you must have created an account before December 11th and if selected you are only allowed to purchase the deal you signed up for.

I've found a way to buy a Wii bundle from Argos. You've got to search for Cat. No. 5687992. (or click on the link in the blurb I've copied below)

If you search for a Wii console - you won't find this.

I've already bought one - so I've not gone through the purchasing part but it allows me to put it in my basket and go as far as I want to go.

Note the bit about "Delivery usually 2 working days subject to stock."

This is the US Amazon site? I think the one found at Amazon.co.uk is for a CV offer which is now closed. Anybody who took part in it (and who was successful) would have been e-mailed a code to use on checkout. It's possible that Amazon put a cookie on the computer used to take part in the vote. Without this cookie the "Buy" button doesn't appear. Just a theory! But seems possible.

I think all the codes will be unique - so in the very unlikely event of finding one on the Web - it's probably already been used and useless.

I saw the amazon one last week, passed it on to someone and they bought it and received the Wii within a few days, I wonder if it was a glitch.

I spotted this offer on the carphone warehouse site,please do your own link search for this and read the terms and conditions.The offer ends 5pm on the 6th December.

It looks genuine enough,I would think you end up paying a monthly subscription for the phone contract.It may be of use to some people....?
