Posted this a week ago, and reposting in case it helps anyone...
For all those still after Wii's - please don't give up!
I felt like you did these past few days, and was ready to throw in the towel this morning, when I got one!
I had the JL pages up http://www.johnlewis.com/Technology/...oductType.aspx and also this thread.
I had no luck with the JL pages but someone on here posted a link (love ya Mamazaac!!) and I went for it.
3 pieces of advice that helped me (gleaned from this thread plus one of my own!).
1.You cannot register at John Lewis until you place your first order - this wastes precious seconds.
Yesterday I ordered £3 worth of baubles from them (free delivery), that way I had a password already set up when the Wii's came back in stock.
2. Use Autofill to have your name and address details ready - although I think it will remember them if you have already registered - doesn't remember card details though so you will have to type quick!
3. My c/card asks for letters from a security password which again wastes precious seconds and I twice lost one this way. This time I used my debit card as no extra security screen to get through. Just ensure the funds are in there though!
You may not get the EXACT package you want, but at least JL do NOT rip you off. I only wanted the basic £179.99 package but in the end bought it for £218.95 with a Rayman RR2 game with it. The email confirmation lists them as separate items so I suppose I could return the game if need be, but it has good reviews so decided to keep it.
Have faith - you will get one! Yes, you may have to spend a few days glued to a PC hitting F5, but they seem to be appearing more frequently now.
Good luck!
CF xAgeing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Yeah, I got that too but I've given up and settled on an Xbox 360 instead now. Hope anyone who has ordered from MW gets one from them though.
Snap , given up searching for a Wii for my Daughter and bought her an Xbox 360, after She saw what the Xbox can do She said She'd prefer it over the Wii.
I might buy a Wii ( possibly a used one off ebay ) next year when the price drops.0 -
