my pal was delivering some to tesco in glasgow today, he asked if he could keep one aside for himself, he was told no, because.................the staff have snapped them all up already !!0

I think this site needs to be seriously checked out as a whole load of people are going to get screwed again this Christmas and I don't have the time for another campaign!!
Well said ... if you have children in the UK, the whole f*****g system is against you.
Tax credits... seemed good, until they took em back
Holidays/flights out of term time... nice one
Why is it that the rest of Europe has no problem getting Wiis, but once again, Rip Off Brittania lives up to its name.....
Deal with it, people, just pay £230 on e-bay and watch your kids faces next month... whatever this sick country and its twisted government does, it cant take a smile away from a childs face.
The level par price of a Wii is now £230 - if you can get one cheaper - well done, but for heaven's sake, don't let money come before you and your family having 30 minutes fun!
forgot to mention losing our children's personal details "in the post" .... but as long as the rich get richer, good old GB don't give a S**t0 -

Seems like someone really needs a Wii. Don't let the f*&@kers get you down. Hope you get one and play lots with your kids to help wash away all the stresses. Good luck0 -

I know how you feel, everything you said is so true, I got screwed on tax credits, etc., but this is for my dh and my son, my dh is another who is screwed... he's a soldier and we live in cack quarters and he gets treated like total cack, what you read about our forces is soooo true, especially of late.
But I will not pay more than RRP.
I really hope you get one, if I find a genuine site at RRP - I'll let you know. But no doubt like you I am on the alert sites, etc.,~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -

Pack your bags tomorrow night, and get you & your family on the last ferry to Calais (don't take the Eurocon) have a day out together and get yourself a couple of Wii's - make fun of it, and get something out of it for you & your family..... until FUN Tax is introduced (oh sorry.... that's why were paying mental prices at Christmas ... silly me)0 -

Nil stock though. Said usually hit shelves at 5pm, due to midday delivery, then get them out of the cages..

I know exactly what you mean, I have been trying to get hold of a wii for the past 8 weeks, and I spoke to my local shops and phoned through to the head office for the major braches as well. I explained that my nephew was involved in a serious car accident and is making progress and is slowing coming out of a coma, I also explained that he first smiled when I promised to get him a wii for Christmas (at which point I was oblivious to the shortage) getting back to my point, it was his first smile and since then he is making amazing progress, even the doctors are amazed. So I explained to them my predicament I accept it was my own doing by promising such a thing, however I thought there would be some compassion and even told them they could phone the hospital and I would give them the name of my nephew to verify, plus I only wanted one wii! To my surprise I did not find compassion so paid more for a package, however when I saw my nephew this evening and told him I had a wii his eyes light up and he tried to pull me in for a hug, so in all the wii was more than worth the money, however I strongly believe that the Christmas sprit is pretty much dead.0
