we put our name on a short list at woolies last week and we got a call this Tuesday.
they seem to get a few per week but the list was only 5 or 6 people 5 arrived the day we got ours and only 2 were orders so there was 3 left for the shelf.
if you dont pick it up the day they phone then they just sell them or go down the list.
might be worth a try.
this was all done in store.
we also added cars for an extra £20.
there were 3 other games you could have added as a package.

I ordered my Wii from Powerplaydirect.com on the 30th of December. Still says "On order from Supplier".
God this is really annoying.
Has anybody recieved a wii from them or when did you order yours please?

I live on the Wirral so any hints would be great thanks!

I ordered mine from woolworths on Tuesday was awaiting security check til Wednesday the payment and order placed with suppliers on Wednesday night It has just been delivered now they do have them in stock just takes longer than most other websites

mine's been "ready to dispatch" for 3 days from woolies.

I sent them a secure message asking them why it was taking so long to load onto the delivery van (hehe) and they just said there was an unexpected delay... blah blah - standard templated reply. useless IMO

Just ordered Wii play (with remote control) from gamestation - £34.99, free delivery. Guy told me that they had plenty in stock but delivery could take up to 7 days.

Hope this helps someone.

I went and just got one, they have 1 more in stock now, but didn't mention anything about a further delivery tomorrow.
