i was considering a trip to rotterdam on the ferry to grab some wii's to make up the £64 it would cost for the ferry.

i think 2 wii's would make up that margin

It appears that you can still get the £249.92 pack with wario ware, zeldo twilight and mega accessories pack. It says no stock but allows you to select home delivery as an option. For my address it said 2 days delivery!

I'm drawing comfort on the fact that Nintendo has tried preventing cross selling across europe so they must have some confidence that they can meet demand within the Uk otherwise why would they leave unsold units in other countries, it just doesnt make sense.

Any suggesstions as to motivations for doing that?

I think nintendo have created a big stock shortage so they bring so much media attention and when ever they are in stock, all customers want are wiis instead of any other consoles as they are the ones to have

worked for me too, could get it delivered monday, I didn't completeorder though, just want console not package.
