Yes but to be honest get the original, RRR1 is much more fun and has a story mode.

2 is great but not as great as the original.

You also need both the remote and the nuncheck to play either version, so you need to buy a 2nd remote and nunchuck if you buy either.

I'm getting rather into the new Endless Ocean, not a "game" as such but pretty relaxing after a bad day at work swimming with fish..
I'm not going to explain it, google it, I doubt I can explain it in a way that makes much sense anyway it's a wierd premise for a game.

Just checked the status of my HMV order....

I'd say for boys that age...


Warioware - tons of very small mini games which are very funny should appeal to most kids and young at heart...things like picking your nose and that kind of silly nonsense! but it's one player.

Wii play is okay for a while

RR2 i think will be excellent for them

If they are footie fans, Fifa 08..but if not, mario strikers charged is a very fun football game that should appeal to most boys . you can play online too.

Mario galaxy is good

metroid prime is a shooter/puzzle game..im not so fond of it but others reallly enjoy it..

i don't really know what your kids are like but for christmas, warioware, mario galaxy and mario strikers should cover most aspects!

if you had to choose one, i'd say mario galaxy. it will have the wow factor once you play plus you have humour covered with RR2 and multiplayer covered with Sports and PLay.

Reading on HotUKDeals that someone pre-ordered a Wii from HMV at a similar time last year. They didn't take delivery before xmas and ended up canceling mid January.

The only guarantee will be you money back.

I wouldn't worry about that. I ordered something non-wii related last night and it says the same.

Have spoken to HMV and they said they only had a limited number of Wiis so it was on a first come basis but if they cant supply you with one out of this batch they will send you one when they next get them in which, he said, should be before Christmas. He said keep an eye on the order status on your account.
