  • Just ordered from Gamestation. Their T&Cs state

    34. If you are returning an item purchased in a discounted or promotional offer, all items purchased in any offer are to be returned if you wish to receive a full refund. In the instance when all the items are not returned the refund will be adjusted accordingly, at our discretion. Items purchased within a hardware combo cannot be partially returned to our stores. Please call 0845 345 0335 to arrange a return on such items.

Ordered a few under different email addresses and credit cards (all my own I should add!) for friends who have asked me to try and get them a wii on the basis that this means I can return the games for a refund.

Of course, if Gamestation spot my ploy I might not get them all anyway, but in case the orders go through ok, does anyone know whether I am right in my thinking about returning just the games please?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
  • PC World are showing them as in stock now, but only the packages with 3 or 4 games included and the cheapest one is £349! Restricted to one per customer. Hope this works:

Did you get all the way into the payment area where they ask you to type in your card details? It should work if you've gone that far.

otherwise, i can give you one i made experimenting and you can adjust it to fit your details.

I can PM the details if you'd like.

It's an account I made just seeing how far you need to go to register.

I don't know if this will work but you could also register at waitrose? it has a normal form for new users

  • I ordered one from Gamestation yesterday and it arrived today :) Great service.
  • I just tried Gamestation again, although the search site says they are in stock, when you get there they won't let you order the £179 one and are pushing for the more expensive packages. Am I having a 'moment' or is everyone having this?

(its still saying no stock if i go via quidco aswell!)
    C Card £5218.68 (Feb 2011)
    £2 coins (No 085) - £190
    Mort overpayments 2011 - £418.06
  • I dont know if this is any use to anyone but I've just been looking on Amazon and theres various discussions going on about buying Wii's from Germany and they gave a link to this e-bay seller (I Know!!!) in Germany

Hes selling Wiis for 284 Euros (buy it now) - something like the Amazon.de one and the postage is 20 Euros. I dont know if its worth a look and I dont know how to translate it but somebody may be able to do it.

Just a thought ........................and I have no involvemnet with the seller etc
