Does anyone know if I can return the gamestation one back to store? Even though I ordered online. I tried to cancel yesterday but it's already been dispatched

I'm not sure but people were talking about that yesterday, have a look in the terms and conditions page on their site or ring them.

  • Does anyone know when they charge your card - will it be on 3rd December or now

Amazon generally charge your card at the despatch stage.

They are very good too. If your card gets bumped..like mine did last week :rotfl: they email you & give you a chance to change payment details & pick it up from there so you don't lose your order.

I am thinking about buying one for kiddies for Christmas and I really thought that just deciding whether to buy it or not was my only problem but after stumbling on this thread I realise that actually getting one at a good price is also a problem. Someone who posted on the discount thread mentioned she had got one from the German Amazon site for approx £173 (euro equivalent at the time of buying) but this was just the Wii no games.
Can you all please part with your good advice about bundle deals and what I should expect to pay etc. I will be eternally grateful.

Amazon.de will not deliver to the uk. The best place to look is amazon.co.uk but they only get them in about once a week. Johnlewis and gamestation seem the best at the minute but neither have them in. PC World have still got them but not very cheap!

Thanks - odd about Amazon.de though as I am sure she said whe was using it which made me presume she had it delivered. I shall scour JL and Gamstation today as I am off work and see what I can come up with.

The bundles are put together by the retailers not Nintendo so basically what they have alot of or want to get rid of will be put in a bundle.

Johnlewis console + 1 game I guess is a bundle @ £213.95 but the more games/ accessories it can be higher.

Dixons bundles yesterday , started at £350 for 4 games, gamestation yesterday started at £299 for console & 4 games, so the prices varey from retailer to retailer.

Good luck and welcome to the hunt ;)

EDIT:, Amazon.de were posting to the UK, but apparently Nintendo put a freeze on them doing it, i'm guessing to cause more of a rush to buy over here.

Amazon.de (& Amazon.Fr) were delivering to the UK but they put a stop to it a couple of weeks ago. Lots of people on this thread got theirs from there, but sadly that option is no longer available.
