If you really are planning on importing a large quantity I'd check with Customs and Excise; however according to their website, the 'personal use' restriction applies to alcohol and tobacco - as there are different duty rates on these products all over the EU, whereas VAT is 'harmonised' (albeit between 17% & 19%) - on that basis, you can bring as many as you wish, go through the blue channel and tell the Customs guy to not be so nosey (although that will only delay you further!).

I have never seen pricing at Heathrow lower than normal UK.

Unfortunately Dixons won the battle and have now sold out.

Least those parents / customers can stop worrying now, even if they did pay alot for it.

And as long as Dixons can sell at those inflated prices. How long before all the rest follow. Comet already done it yesterday. When I went to the store yesterday to see if they had any in the store, at normal prices, they told me they were only available online. I told them we were being ripped off and the staff agreed but said they couldn't do anything about it.
