I tired that to follow that guide, ordering with Amazon.de, and got a message whilst going through the process telling me in German that it will only deliver the Wii to German addresses.
Amazon.de appear to have stopped exporting Wii's
Has anyone experienced this?
(Länder mit Versandbeschränkungen ) ***" after selecting the delivery address.

Retailers maybe not Nintendo. Wii's have been in short supply since the launch last year, it's a sign how popular they are.
Nintendo sell them to retailers at a set price, they don't make more if the retailer pushes the price up. it's the retailers who are making the killing bundling them with games (usually the ones rated really badly no-one wants!) so you can't just buy a console by itself.
Wii's are in short supply in the UK and US, if Nintendo could fill the demand they would, but you can't just up the factory production rate and get them in the shops a few days later.0 -
