Nobody has posted for nealry an hour. Which means

a) everybody has got a Wii and it's just me tha is sitting in front of my PC looking
b) there is just zero availability and things are going from bad to worse

rumour is Argos are now ONLY putting their stock on the INSTORE checkers as ALL their stock was getting snapped up first thing, and then loads were going back into stock when the registration lapsed. Think they also suspected most were going straight back onto ebay.

Make sure you only register one if you find one instore.....

worth a punt early morning if you are passing an Argos as it opens

still looking (in between working!!)

when we were out shopping on sat i made a point of asking everywhere. the stock answer was that stock is on the way but probably not until 1st week in dec. but reading prev posts on here that seems to be unlikely. i don't know what to think really. i know it's possiblr but i think its VERY unlikely we will get one via a 'stock checker' alert. they seem to be in stock for 1 - 2 minutes.

Yes Comtech is a long established and trustworthy company.
I actually ordered from the a little while ago. However, I paid by Paypal, and today they said they couldn't send me as Paypal doesnt give them seller protection for payments from outside Germany.

However, they have said if I do an International bank Transfer they will be able to process my order. They are trustworthy, so that shouldn't be a problem, apart from the cost

Also, they have no stock until 29th November (I asked them on Thursday..situation may have changed(, and any orders will not be sent out until then). So you'll get it before Xmas, but not immediately

Spent all day in Bluewater on Sunday, and asked at each shop about stock:

Virgin - Had some in on Saturday, people queued and sold out within minutes - WILL be getting more stock in.

GAME - Guy in there was on another planet, and didn't have a clue

HMV - Similarto Virgin, had 40 in and sold out within minutes however they can now see when they are coming in, the guy showed me the readout on the computer, none on the list but if you keep asking them they will check for you. (they had 2 showing as in stock, unfortunately 1 was reserved and the other was a failure :-()

I have been watching this thread for ages...I hesitated and missed the boat with amazon de and fr..and when comtech.de appeared I went for it. It was a bit of a gamble, and I was nervous they would take my money and hold onto it. I too received an email today about paypal payments, and have cancelled my order.

So now I am back to looking.

How do people know when Argos are going to release stock?

nobody knows when argos are going to release stock. you just have to walk in and ask if they have any
