Yeh the lady was surprised they had them. Can't believe its coming tomorrow! They just phoned me back to confirm it would arrive by 1pm. Great service from them.

am i right in assuming this is coming from your local argos (or one fairly near to you)?
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
  • Don't think so although they checked my postcode it was through home delivery. And its being delivered to my parents about 50 miles away.
  • There are wii in stock online at Dixons. Only available in a bundle though.

Does anyone now how reliable this company are?

They are offering a free wii with a mobile contract

They also offer £45 cashback if you are registered with www.quidco.co.uk

OneStopPhoneShop is part of the CarPhone Warehouse group so are backed by a good reliable company.

For the "free" Wii, one price plan I selected (Orange I think), in the terms showed "You will receive your selected product 28 days after receipt of your phone subject to stock availability." so it's basically a month after you get your phone and thats IF they can get hold of stock, unless they have been collecting all year and have a warehouse full of Wii's, I'd expect a delay in receiving your "free" gift.

The phones are nothing special either and taking the Sony Ericsson K800i for example, over the year contract you will end up paying £640, so yes you'll get a phone, a contract and a Wii, but you will be paying alot for them.

I used them a few years ago and they seemed alright. Don't bank on them getting the wii to you for a while though, they probably don't have them in stock and will send it to you when they get them in.

Heh heh ... not sure I'd agree with your surmise of the CarphoneW**re House !!
I took them to court twice 4 or 5 years ago over outstanding debts ;)

Hi all, just joined up to try and find my Wii!

Just phoned Argos and they said they havent got any in stock - guessing they sold out again?

Is it best to ring places, or check the websites?
