Got mine at the local 'Game' shop - had to hang around for about 45 mins as the guy said they were due in but you couldn't pre-book.
I ended up paying nearly £300 for WII console sports / 3 games / charger / sports pack & 2yrs. insurance. I was just glad to get it though and it's a present for both my kids.

is there not a porblem with buying from play.com if the item becomes faulty? Having read problems people have had with them not accepting returns / faulty goods after certain period I would be wary of buying from Play.

It is, though people also get them to be able to make their own backups (kids + DVDs = oops :rotfl:) and play imports.
