*Bright-Idea* wrote: » Have you seen how much they want for the games? Much cheaper elsewhere I'm afraid
Only suggested it as it is an offer so it works out £20 a game0 -
the games we have are the one that comes in the box..the sports and i bought the brunswick bowling. the children playing it are 11 8 5, on that basis do i need more than whats in the box?
i shall not be buying any more games (appart from high school musical) for a loooonnngggg time!

If you look on the back of the games, it usually shows picture of how many remotes can play - for bowling etc can share a remote and pass it on to each other but for some other games where they can play against each other, more than one will be needed - this is where the catch is as they are quite expensive to have one each.
If you want another game to "bulk up" the xmas pressies - tesco.com are selling Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer for £10 delivered via Tesco Jersey - is still selling up to £39.99 in some game shops.0 -

But on ebay they're reaching £150 + over the retail.
I don't quite know why people will pay that TBH. I mean, I would like my son to have one for xmas, but not to pay that much over the odds.
Have folk just become obsessed with getting what they want, regardless of what it costs?
I had a look at completed listings and it looks more like an average of £50 over retail + postage.
Now I am not a big fan of proiteering but after ebay and paypal take a cut you are talking about £30 profit. Not too much to ask to save a buyer all this hassle of phoning round and desparatly waiting for someone to have stock.
Supply and demand. If you can't or do not want to pay a premium then explain the fact of life to the kiddies and buy them one in January when there will be hundreds around.0 -
To whoever asked about what else to get...
You said you already have the Wii console and the Wii sports game. I would definately reccomend that you get Wii play as this has lots of random little games and also comes with another control. This will be handy so 2 of your kids can play against each other on games like Tennis.
I would also get an extra nunchuck so that you then have two of each, at least they then can both do boxing if they wish.
The extra remotes are only about £20 so they can use christmas money if they decide they want to get extra ones.
hope this helpsGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -

I didn't mean to advertise the goods. All I was saying is that he good stock of 10 coming Monday. We are all trying to find one (thankfully i now have one of the 10!) and I was trying to help.
On ebay they seem to go for £250 upwards and I wanted to tell you I know somewhere less with delivery next week.
I didn't mean to break the forum rules - just trying to help.0
