  • Hello,

I've been searching for ages for one, but didn't wanna pay the silly prices on eBay. Then when I went for my job interview I found out they are giving away free Wii's when you take out a mobile contract with them. Not sure of the details yet as I haven't started yet. I don't think you have to wait to get it either, I think you recieve it straight away.

I can stop searching now and just get one from (soon to be) work.

Is is better to buy the Wii points here or in the states?

    Cheers

Sorry for going off topic but does anyone know if the Wii Mega pack from Argos is any good? As Was going to get a Wii + Wii Play for £214.98 (Save £10 on a game when bought with a Wii) But for £5 more I can get the same deal with the mega pack, but I'm not sure how good (or useful) the mega pack would be?

I have the mega pack and I love it! However I have a mate with a Wii who thinks its pointless.

It depends how and why you play your Wii. If I'm playing wii sports I'm standing up and swinging the remote all over the place..... the tennis /baseball/golf add ons are great because they make it feel more realistic. However my mate sits down and uses the remote by twitching his hand.... not really any point him having the add on bits!

Trouble is, the Wii ends up costing you about £350!
    Can I help?

there are plenty of Wii's available over at Meadowhall , Sheffield. Loads in stock at Virgin Megastore and HMV. I don't think they can get rid of them fast enough now so if you want one and are in the locality its well worth a try.

Also, Savastore have them in stock:
    http://www.saverstore.com/productinfo/Product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=20009433&rstrat=1

Use Google checkout and save an extra tenner. Price is not the cheapest but with the google checkout it brings it to £174. I dont know how reliable the company is though
