Hope you paid with a Nationwide credit card to avoid the hidden 2.75% exhange fee!

Just to clarify, if anyone has received one from the german amazon before, all that is different is the mains lead?
  • Hi All,

Managed to get a from my local Woolies. Told my friends and they managed to get some too - but from different stores, so looks like they're starting to come into stock. These are in Central London.

Try your local Woolworths - call them. They'll usually hold them till the end of the day.

    Goodluck All!!!

    Hi Sam,

Did you get a plug adapter, or did you just rewire it into a UK plug? Also how long did it take to come?

    Cheers,

    G

I'd use an adaptor, cutting the plug off may invalidate the warranty

Germany is definitely PAL. I think the only place in Europe that isn't is France who use SECAM.
    Can I help?

France only use SECAM for video cassettes and some TV broadcasts. All DVD's and games are PAL.
