Apparently the reason for the delay was due to a change in the dvd drive to combat mod chips. This meant they had to pause the manufacturing process to implement the changes. Fingers crossed we will see the new batch in stores this week!

other chips are working fine,. and i really do think and console that gets chipped out sells the rest easy,.

all they have done is moved 1 soldering point and thats it,.

No, I sold them for a profit. But a Wii is not a need. Its a luxury item. None of us need a Wii to function.

If I went without a wii for a few days I don't think I'd function properly...

true, but you know that you can make a tidy profit on them because people cant get them freely,so you take your share of the wii`s and sell them on ebay for a profit.it doesnt matter how you sugar coat it you still profitted from the shortage of these consoles.im not having a pop i just dont understand the need for you to say "its not because I want to profit " when what you mean is i got a few of them and sold them for a profit.if you didnt want to profit why not sell at RRP ?;)

Without sounding like a pedant, if you read the sentence properly I said i did not want to profit out of peoples needs, we've cleared up that the Wii is not a need hence not selling them at RRP.

There is money to be made on selling them and there are people who are prepared to pay the inflated prices no-one is making them buy a Wii and if theyre kids are pressuring them into buying one then they shouldnt be so weak.
