I called in to Tesco chorley and leyland over the weekend and they both had Wii's in stock. no deals or discounts but they had them in.

She gave them a ring but they had none left. She bobbed in as well on Friday and there was none there. i guess it's being in the right place at the right time at the moment.

We are going to the Trafford Centre tomorrow night I think to see if anyone has them in there, fingers crossed but i'm not getting to hopeful for her.

They update 60 seconds with 'real time' stock alerts, I kept this minimised on my pc and if stock appears anywhere you get an alert. I managed to pick up one from Game within a couple of days.

Still no sign of Wii anywhere

My sis rang game and gamestation and they both said something about non being flown over here but they just being shipped now and this weekend most places will have them. Looks like she won't get one in time for Sunday. Ive told her to make him a mock one out of some boxes and just buy him one next week

Mu sons's wanted one since they came out but we've always been unsuccessful. Eventually I tried E-Bay in desperation, nervous about paying over the odds or worse still being ripped off. You may want to try this guy http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZrafi1984 - I won the auction a couple of weeks ago and the item was delivered within 6 days. The Wii is from Germany but its UK spec, in other words PAL TV system, 240 volts with English instructions - even the Wii itself has power and eject on the buttons! The only thing is the mains lead has a German plug on the end but the seller enclosed an adapter to convert it to UK 3 pin plug! Or you could cut the German plug off and wire a UK one on. Obviously its an auction so you need to be quick but he may take a cash offer if you ask?

My sister finally got one second hand from a Gamestation. She only saved £10 but it's fully boxed etc. Good luck everyone else, if what she is told is true there should be a load appearing at the weekend x
