Sorry tim that wasnt a pop at you, im just getting a tad tired to hearing how their children "must have one", I witnessed a stand off in southend two days ago when two "women" went at it each other to get the one wii left in gamestation, its just a shame the true message of christmas is wasted on some people.

Thanks for that another query what is Wii play and do you think its worth getting the sport accessory pack ie the little tennis racket etc. I am not very up in theses things.

    Thanks

Wii play is an extra wiimote & 9 games.

I personally wouldn't purchase the sports accessory pack but it's your own preference, it works fine without them.

    If people really are desperate for a Wii they could look here;

    http://www.cex.co.uk/product.php?sku=SWIIWIIE001

Dozens in stock across the country. However they are about £300. Its an exchange company based in many towns including mine who buy brand new and used items then re-sell. Not ideal but at least they have them in stock. Better than fleabay as at least you get guarantees!

Hope this helps people but otherwise keep looking as you will find them. I personally picked up 4 today from town - i just took the morning off at the off chance and went into town. Luckily for me there were some just delivered at Game.

Got all I need now so if i find anymore I will post the details on here and first to PM and pay cost price plus postage gets them - its quite a challenge actually.

Wii play is a game that includes a wiimote. Wiimotes can be bought for 32.99 but wii play retails at 34.99 so most people opt to pay £2 extra for 8 games (i think 8)

    the games are

    shooting gallery
    fishing
matching the poses thingy (you have to rotate your character "Mii" to the correct pose)
    table tennis
    Where's wally sort of game
tanks - control a tank and destroy others
    cow racing
    air hockey

they are all small simple games which are relatively fun especially when you first get them. Def not for one player though!

I think the sports accessories are a waste of money. they are bits of plastic to which you stick the wiimotes in. you could easily sello -tape your wiimote to your tennis racket or golf club for the same effect.
