New here - *WHY* have I never seen this board before???

I'm a relatively new MSE-er and have only just stumbled across the old-style board. There is *so* much here I want to try :) I am a SAHM to two little boys trying to stretch our money a bit further and make everything in our home as lovely as possible :D

I think it will be counter productive for the first couple of weeks as I will be on here constantly reading the threads instead of sorting my life out. First thing I think will be a grocery shop challenge as this has been on my mind after the excesses of Christmas!

Look forward to learning lots and hopefully sharing a few tips too :)

Thanks Culpepper :):) It seems like a nice place to hang out, although not right now as I can hear my baby waking up!

Hi Spiddy, welcome, people are very friendly and offer much great support and advise.

Why not join in the daily thread, and catch up with the Old stylers, Its a bit like a dear diary, other people on there are so amazing and motivated, that they've inspired to me to do a lot of things.

Dont be shy, ask us anything, Im sure someone will gladly help you.

    Happy New Year -

Hiya. Yup ask anything - I've asked some silly questions in my time here and I'm sure I'll be asking some more soon :D - everyone is so helpful and quick to answer.

The Thrifty Ways book is a really good read too if you want a break from the PC! :rotfl:

    Thanks Crazychik and Newlywed :)

I will definitely check out the daily thread, I want to show off the results of my storecupboard and freezer audit - my first action as a new OS MSE-er. And I ordered my copy of the Thrifty Ways book from Amazon today - got a gift certificate for christmas :)
