I bought my son one of these from Amazon for Christmas but mistakenly thought I had bought the value pack with accessories. Can you tell me where is the best place to buy the extra kit and what exactly does he need ie memory wise etc. Thanks

aldi had a load of psp accessories in just before christmas.
in terms of memory - it really depends on what you want to do. i just bought a 2 gig card for £40 from play.com and this a pretty good price for a legitimate one (there are lots of fakes about) but then i want to download films and they are about 500 meg each - if you dont want to do that then a 512 meg might do and theyre about a tenner
if you want to use it in the car get a car power adapter, and a usb cable so you can download stuff from your PC
a hard case so you dont break or scratch that lovely screen.
some people put screen protectors on, but personally i dont liek them - you can get most of this stuff in a set for about 10-20quid depends where you go.
i got a transit pack XL from play for £11.99 and it did the lot bar the mem card .
hope this helps0 -
The best investment would be a HORI screen protector, I got mine form ebay £5 I think it was yeah there are cheaper ones available but I have yet to find one that goes on as easily without air bubbles infact there wasnt even any need to squeegy any out. The instructions are in japanees but you can work it out.
I would proberbly return the base pack and fer a value pack they are miles better value the remote on the headphones and the soft case the 32mb memory card is fine if all your doing as saving games. if you want to rip dvd's to psp format and use it to play music then buy a bigger memory card. I have a 2GB, 1GB and a 32mb cards, when I have some spare cash I will buy a 4GB as I have downgrades mine so I can play ISO game images from the memory card and some of those take up a bit of space but if he isnt in to playing games for free and other homebrew then dont worry about it.0
