Tax liability on services paid in kind?

Options
An employer I've recently started doing freelance work pays me entirely in kind by way of horse riding lessons and related equestrian activities on site. Does anyone know what tax liability these kind of sports services have? I tried looking on the hmrc site but it seems primarily concerned with company benefits like cars and accommodation rather than being paid primarily this way.
