CafePress?

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with CafePress? Seems like a winner if you can find some images/logos that people would want to buy on stuff. Or does the fact that it is us based (with associated conversion costs for commission cheques) make it not worth doing?

Am seriously considering setting up a shop with them.

I've put about five or six designs on there and made the odd sale here and there but have yet to earn over the $25 to receive a cheque. It also takes ages for sales to clear on your account.

I'd like to do more designs (but haven't really had the time though). I get the impression that if you did 100 or so designs you might make some money but only as a minor supplemental income.
    Me in statistics

 0 - per cent will power

    Time for a change! :T

I sell on cafepress. I make good pin money from it for very little effort. I have 20-30 designs on there and make enough to cover my premium shop fees plus £150 a year.

If I had more time (and talent) I could make more. Peak times for selling are before Christmas, and the start of the summer.

You have to remember that you are selling to a mainly US market. Find a niche market as well. One of my best selling t shirts says "I Love Math Geeks" :)

Anyone have any questions, please ask. :D
