Postage increase again in April!!!

i dont know if this is the correct forum,
but i have just been informed that the Royal Mail will be increasing there prices again in April
As you know you are now charged for weight & size.

First class Letter upto 100gsm 34p per item 2p increase.

First class Large Letter upto 100gsm 48p per item 4p increase.

Second class Letter upto 100gsm 24p per item 1p increase.

Second class Large Letter upto 100gsm 40p per item 3p increase.

    so best to stock up on stamps before that,as we always need them anyway!.

    Buying stamps now for the lower rate means they can still be used after April 2007?

    I mean sometimes you get those really stupid stamps that are for like 1p. They may as well not make them ahhhhhhh!

    If u buy first class stamps now,it can still be used after the price rise,as they are not price marked.Am I wrong?Someone enlighten please??

    that is correct,if no price printed on stamp and you can still use old ones

    just to confirm, if you buy stamps now, and they say 1st/2nd etc on them, you can use them after the changeover, and wont have to pay any extra.

    if they are marked with a price, you can still use them, but will have to use additional stamps to make it up to the correct value
